Established in 2001 this site offers copyright free lesson materials at 6 levels as well as an array of tools and resources for ESL teachers and students. Many worksheet include answers, lots of song worksheets, board games and teacher forums. Definitely worth a look!

English Bites - ABC Asia Pacific
English Bites is a program produced by ABC Asia Pacific for cable and satellite distribution in the Asia Pacific region. It is designed to help English learners improve their English for Business and travel purposes. A new program is available each weekday and a large archive is included in the site. The program is broadcast in Japan, Korea, china -great for students when they return home!
The site can also be viewed via the web using realplayer or similar it includes transcript, vocab work and multiple choice questions.

Cant decide what to read... this unique British website lets you search for books by plot, charachter, settling and many other variables. After making your selections a title and short blurb are returned, along with an link to an extract... a list of alternative suggestions is also included.
If you live in the UK you can even check if your local library holds a copy and if its available for loan!!!

SelfAccess - Preparation for IELTS, FCE, TOEFL, TOEIC, ESOL Exams - Interactive English Lessons and Exercises based on Reuters News Articles.
This site offers subscription based e-lessons but also has quite a lot of free materials useful for students preparing for English Language exams.. The IELTS materials were definitely worth exploring and included 13 free exercises suitable for self study.
