Another excellent BBC offering.... take some time to explore the site fully as there is lots here of interest for both class use and independant learning. This particular section offers news stories to read and listen to and then vocab exercises and a chance for students to add their opinions in a comment section. The topics are current and interesting, would suit both high school and general english classes.

Recently reviewed in "English teaching professional" this free site offers a range of exercises predominantly for business English but also suitable for general students There are a couple of links that take you off to sites advertising language related products which can be a little confusing but the content is still work exploring. There is a lot here and answers are provided.

As well as offering a paid product this site publishes a new free lesson every week, The lessons come with detailed instructions and are usually game/activity based. After being online for a week the lesson becomes part of their "for sale" collection. By subscribing to the newsletter you are reminded to download each weeks new lesson while it is still free.
