BBC NEWS | Entertainment | TV and Radio | Dyke to open up BBC archive

While everyone else is talking about how to make money from their online content the BBC announced this week that they will be offering free access to their TV and radio program archives sometime in the future (date not given).

I can imagine ways of using this material with ESL learners in a well set up computer lab.... Considering how many people use the BBC to keep up their English skills it will be a great resource for students when they return to their homes.

Let's hope they don't change their minds!
